The Ministry of Labour building in downtown Kingston and the newly constructed Western Children's Hospital in St. James will now bear her name.

During the unveiling ceremony, political leaders from both sides of the aisle praised Simpson Miller's dedication to the working class and her trailblazing role in Jamaican politics.
