Exchange of Medical Professionals
The agreement will help the exchange of specialized medical personnel between the two nations. Ghana will provide specialist nurses to assist in Jamaican public hospitals, while Jamaica will offer training programs in tropical disease management and public health administration to Ghanaian medical students.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness hailed the agreement as a important step in filling critical staffing gaps in the island's rural health clinics.
