Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

- Proof of ownership (Title or stamped sales agreement)
- A recent property tax receipt
- 4 to 6 copies of the architectural and structural blueprints (stamped by a registered Jamaican architect/engineer)
- Surveyor's ID report
Step 2: Submit to the Municipal Corporation
Submit your documents to the Parish Council (Municipal Corporation) where the land is located. The plans will be reviewed by multiple agencies including the Fire Department, NWA, and NEPA (if applicable).
Step 3: Approval and Fees
Approval can take anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Fees are calculated based on the square footage and use of the building.
