What You Need to Bring
- A valid Government ID (Passport, National ID, or Driver's License)
- Your TRN card
- The Bill of Lading (sent by the shipping company)
- Cash or debit card for fees
The Step-by-Step Process
1. Shipping Agent: Go to your shipping agent's office at the wharf to collect your delivery order. Pay the handling fee.
2. Customs Check: Proceed to the warehouse. A customs officer will open and inspect your barrel.
3. Valuation & Payment: Customs will assess the flat-rate duty (usually $6,500 - $8,000 JMD for personal effects). Pay this at the cashier.
4. Gate Pass: Collect your gate pass and have the barrel loaded into your vehicle.
